I love teaching art skills, but I've also found a lot of fulfillment in teaching about the business side of being a professional artist. I get a lot of questions about how to use Instagram for your creative business, so this week I want to focus on Instagram! And it's the place that I host the #CreateWithCatCoq challenge, so I want you to feel comfortable sharing your work.

One of the biggest challenges that people face when they're thinking about how to utilize Instagram is wondering what to post in the first place. If you've ever held your phone in your hand staring at the screen and wondering what the heck to post, I've got you covered! In my newest blog post I'm sharing eight Instagram content ideas for visual creatives to help you get unstuck when it comes to Instagram. 

 

This week your #CreateWithCatCoq challenge is to create an Instagram account for your art and post something using one of the eight content ideas. Use the hashtag #CreateWithCatCoq on your post so we can check it out and cheer you on!

If you already have an Instagram account for your creative business, you challenge this week is to share a photo of yourself (content idea #8 😉). Introduce yourself in the caption and use the hashtag #CreateWithCatCoq so we can all get to know each other a little better! I know it can feel daunting to get in front of the camera, but it's a great way to connect with your followers and share more about the artist behind the screen!
