Thank you so much for showing up last week for the #CreateWithCatCoq challenge. It was amazing to meet the artists behind the screen and see you all step up to share more of your work. 

This week's challenge is inspired by my most requested tutorial - how to draw a mandala.

Mandalas are one of my favorite things to draw because the process is just so fun and relaxing. But there's another reason that this is such a popular request. Mandalas are typically massive sellers. They have sold well consistently for me over the past couple of years, and the trend hasn't been slowing down. 

 

Drawing mandalas will help you get into a creative flow, but it's also a strategic motif to add to your portfolio if you want to increase your sales. 

My favorite way to draw mandalas is in Procreate. The Procreate tools are perfect for creating beautifully symmetrical mandala illustrations. In my newest blog post I walk through the entire process for creating a mandala in Procreate.
