Dear fellow creative,

 

In 2022, I revisited my various endeavors and have realized that I am still spread too thin. The feeling that arrives for me with starting this endeavor is bitterness, because I truly thought that with all of my time and efforts to bring something unique to the sewing community, it would be seen and I would create a revenue stream as a single parent that helped me provide for my family to live a secure and comfortable life. What I have noticed is that unfortunately that was not the case as I do not have the physical bandwidth to do it all for three businesses at once. 

 

If you are a part of this newsletter, I want to share that am officially closing it down for 2022. Everyone has been invited to my main space where I will be posting over on Substack.  The writing in that space is honest, real, and sad, which embodies who I am a human being and what I stand for. As much fun as I have had as a Gemini having various masks on the internet where I can live out different persona’s, it has been depleting, and exhausting. I simply can not keep it up any longer.

 

The first post will be send to you all this weekend. If you find my work on Substack does not resonate, feel free to simply unsubscribe. It took a lot of consideration for me to merge these lists and  I will have no hard feelings if you only came for the sewing and the free patterns. After meeting with my coach, she agreed that it was okay to do this, and again if this type of work does not resonate for you simply unsubscribe.

 

I have so many ideas for new offerings in 2022 and will be sharing them with you all as they are available only on my Substack, so if you have interest in botanical dye, dyeing with lichen, mycelium, and mushrooms or staying in touch with me, that will be the place to do it.

 

Offerings may or may not be shared on Instagram as I am leaning towards focusing on one page this year.
