Inspiration,
Delivered.

We made it through January which seemed like the longest month ever! Did anyone else feel that way!? I feel like we have been trying to stay healthy while enjoying the nice weather with family walks and working on projects to de-clutter and organize our home! I'll have to share my progress in the next newsletter & on IG stories! It feels so good to tackle these projects! We've also been binge watching the latest season of Ozarks - it's one of those shows you can't stop when you start!! Have you watched it yet?

We also worked on moving the girls back to separate rooms (they wanted to share a room for a few months) and gave each a mini makeover - more on that soon! I feel like I have fully immersed myself into the latest tween/teen bedroom aesthetic trends and I'm excited to share how we pulled off some of these looks while not allowing it to take over their bedroom spaces.

I've also been hard at work designing our 3 bathrooms. We are in the process of getting multiple bids and figuring out the best plan for what we feel would be most beneficial and functional for us. Measuring, planning, designing and sourcing materials is seriously a full time job! When I tackle these projects I'm always reminded how valuable an interior design “lens” can be! We are always learning even after so many years of renovating and remodeling. I can't wait to share these projects with you to inspire you to tackle your next renovation project.

In the mean time let's enjoy a little Valentine's Day inspiration just in time for V-Day! February is my favorite month - not just because it's my birthday month but also because it's the month I met my husband Dion - I can't believe it will be 16 years since we met!! It will also be 4 years since our sweet pup Mavis joined our family! Where does the time go?!

Trader Joe's Finds

My love for Trader Joe's runs deep! I look forward to my weekly trips + finding new things to try & share with you!

I've been getting back to the basics and cooking more. I recently shared my Trader Joe's haul on my IG stories. I'm thinking of creating my go-to list for you on the blog - would that be helpful?
We tried the Kalua Pork Spring Rolls and they were so yummy. We also tried the Crispy Vegetable Pouches and they were delish! I made sure to add parchment paper to the baking sheet - this was super helpful since they were a little greasy and the paper absorbed some of the grease!
I made so many yummy and healthy meals from this Trader Joe's haul and I'm always reminded how much better it is to plan ahead when grocery shopping for meals for the week.
If you are looking for weekly meal ideas - you can head to the post below! Also check out my easy Avocado Toast recipe below - it's my go-to for a quick and healthy lunch!

Renovation + Design Updates for 2022:
Laundry Room

Last year we updated the countertop, sink and faucet in our laundry room. I also added hardware to the cabinets. In a couple of weeks our laundry room cabinets are getting a fresh coat of paint and I'm currently deciding on the color. Which color is your favorite?
