There is a lot of “love thyself” messaging this time of year, so let’s skip right to my current ❤️s.

I’ve got a bone to pick with Punxsutawney Phil. Winter, it seems, will be with us until March 20. Until then, I shall remain swaddled in a silver poncho and my Ostrichpillow heated and weighted neck wrap.

Watch out, Super Bowl LVI, you better make those ads compelling or else  everyone will be focused on making cocktails with these football ice molds

Though I am a longtime New Yorker, I proudly hail from the great city of Chicago. While the classic NYC slice can be a thing of beauty, I am crazy about Chicago deep-dish-style pizza, especially from Lou Malnati’s. If you haven’t tried it yet, now’s your chance. And if you want to be extra cheesy (cue eye roll), try the heart-shaped pies.

Confession — I was was kicked out of my Brownie troop on day one, so there was no hope of my becoming a Girl Scout. Honestly? I didn’t care, I was only there for the cookies. Especially the Thin Mints.

Search for your local retail location here, or you can text “cookies” to 59618 and get them delivered. Win, win.

Years ago, I vowed that if I wanted goodies for Valentine’s Day, I would get them for myself. (Though I do still dream of the hugest heart stuffed with chocolates hint hint.) This year I’ve got my eye on this 2-quart cutie from Le Creuset.

This Black History Month collection is an assortment of cool created by Social Goods — each purchase supports nonprofits working to empower Black voices, build Black political leadership, end voter suppression, elect more Black women, and foster racial equality and justice. That’s a mission I can get behind.

These hot lips sugar cookies from Elle’s Belles Bakery may be the only aphrodisiac you need this Valentine’s Day (or any day, for that matter). Brought to you by Goldbelly, they make my mouth water just looking at them.
Don’t be toooo naughty these next few weeks 💜.
