Happy Friday!!! I hope you all had a fantastic week! Well, I finally did it! I turned my monthly newsletter into a weekly newsletter that will go out every Friday and today is the first edition, so welcome to my first weekly newsletter! Now, let's get into what's been going on this week! It has been a busy week for me! At Glam Budget Beauty I posted not one, but two blog posts, “What's In My Project Pan Basket For 2022 and ”What's In My Monthly Makeup Basket For February 2022" (both posts linked below). Two new series I am starting on the blog for 2022. At Glam Budget Boutique, I am launching the coffee mug clearance sale today to clear out as much inventory as possible (use code “CLEARANCE20” to receive 20% off your entire purchase) while I plan what's next for Glam Budget Boutique besides coffee mugs. I have also been debating this week on whether to stick with Instagram for all of my social media content (posts, stories and long videos) or attempting to start creating content for YouTube as well as Instagram. I am leaning towards staying with Instagram (at least for now) and maybe creating content for YouTube later on. I haven't decided yet. I will let you all know what my decision is when I have made it. Well, that's what went on around here this week, so let's move on to the rest of this week's roundup!
Bite Beauty Upswing Full Volume Mascara – This gave me lots of length and volume, did not flake or smear everywhere and was easy to remove. I am very impressed with this mascara.
Babe Lash Essential Serum – Very good lash serum. Been using for a couple of weeks and already seeing growth and doesn't irritate my eyes. I like this serum better than Grande Cosmetics GrandeLASH-MD Lash Enhancing Serum.
Annod Natural Skincare Repairing Avocado Face Oil - This facial oil is very luxurious, deeply moisturizing and hydrating,. This has a blend of natural and organic ingredients including Avocado Oil, Almond Oil, Jojoba Oil, Evening Primrose Oil, Sandalwood Eastern Oil, Carrot Oil, and Geranium Egypt Oil. It's a bit on the pricey side, but it's worth the money! (this was sent to me in PR)
Annod Natural Skincare Firming Pink Clay Mask - This has a blend of natural clays, including pink French argiletz and kaolin white clays. This mask leaves the face calm, hydrated, tightened, and firmed while depositing vital vitamins and minerals into the skin. I love this mask and use it once a week. Highly recommend! (this was also sent to me in PR)
THIS WEEK'S MISSES
Covergirl +Olay Simply Ageless Foundation(in the shade 220 Creamy Natural) – This is a part of my project pan, and I am on the fence with this foundation. It took some time before it dried down and settled into my expression lines. Next time I will try using a damp makeup sponge instead of a brush to see if that helps with the time it takes to dry down and settling into my facial lines, if not, I will declutter it.
Too Faced Born This Way Multi-Use Sculpting Concealer(in the shade Shortbread) - This is also in my project pan. This concealer is a little to thick for my liking and a little too yellow for my skin tone. I will try mixing this with a thinner, lighter concealer to see if that helps, if not I will declutter this too.

Audriana's Corner
Human Food Your Cat Can Eat
Happy Friday everyone and welcome back to Audriana's Corner! I'm Audriana and it's great to bark with all of you again and starting today, I will be barking with you all every week! I hope you all had a fantastic week! My week was busy with helping mama with the research for this post, taking naps, begging for dog cookies, going on walks, eating, playing with my toys, and chasing my kitty sister Ziva the Diva. Speaking of Ziva the Diva, did you know there are some human foods that kitties can eat? It's true (I know this because Ziva the Diva loves to eat pretty much any human food she can), so I (with mama's help, of course) have listed some of the human foods your cat can eat:
Human Food Your Cat Can Eat
Every cat parent is always concerned about what their cat should or should not eat. There are so many household items and different kinds of human food that are considered unsafe for your pet. So, it would be nice for a change to think of the food that our cats can eat. Like every other food your cat ingests, try it first in small portions to see if it agrees your cat’s system. Below are some types of human food your cat might enjoy:
Chicken
Cats thrive on protein and that should always be the first ingredient in any cat food. Therefore, chicken or any kind of animal meat is safe to feed your cat. Cooked meat is even better for your pets as there is less chance of any bacterial condition. While the raw meat craze is going strong for kitties, cooked seems to be the safest option and since protein has extra fat, make sure you give your cat only a small amount not only for better digestion of the meat, you also don’t want your kitty to gain much weight.
Fish
Most cats love fish and it can provide some much-needed nutrients for them. Open a can of tuna and your cats come running and most fish are found in all different types of cat food in pet stores. So, when you open that can of tuna, it is okay to give your kitty a bite too. However, as in humans, we need to watch our kitties’ mercury and higher cholesterol content, so be very sparing with the fish that are known to have higher mercury content such as tuna, salmon, and swordfish. A little can go a long way.
Eggs
Eggs are great for humans and cats because eggs are rich in protein and cats seem to love the texture of eggs. However, cooked eggs, such as scrambled or hard-boiled, make an excellent and nutritious treat for a cat and are better than raw, uncooked eggs which could upset your cat’s sensitive digestive system.
Cheese
Many cats love cheese and it's a good source of protein for them although some cats are able to eat it without any problem and some cats find it hard to digest as do some humans. As in humans, some cats are sensitive to dairy as they get older and become lactose intolerant. For these adult cats, any cheese, milk, or other dairy will cause diarrhea. If you are interested in feeding your cat dairy, give it a very small amount at first to see how their digestive system handles it. If there are no issues, your cat may be able to safely handle small portions of cottage cheese, yogurt, or sour cream. You can also try giving your cat low-lactose varieties of cheese and milk especially if you already have it around the house.
Vegetables
Some cats enjoy chomping on plants every once in a while, to get roughage or fiber and you can give your cats small portions of vegetables too. Some recommended vegetables include baked carrots, steamed asparagus or broccoli, green beans, winter squash, or chopped greens. Some cats love veggies while others just look at them and walk away.
Rice
Cooked rice is a good way to give your kitty a little fiber and diversify his normal eating routine. It is easy on your cat's digestive system and gives them a little grain in the process.
As with every snack, moderation is the key to your cat enjoying and feeling well when eating a snack. All of the above are okay to share, but each cat is different so test the above in small amounts to see how it suits your cat.
That's all I have for now. I hope you all have a fantastic Friday and I will bark with you all again next week!
This Week's Recipe
Pesto Chicken Bake
CHICKEN PESTO BAKE
Chicken Pesto Bake is a simple, light dish made with skinless chicken breasts, pesto, tomatoes, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese. You can make this in the oven or on the grill. This dish is so easy and a great way to get dinner on the table in no time. Just add a salad and garlic bread and you have a dinner sure to please everyone in your family! Here’s the recipe:
INGREDIENTS:
2 (16 oz. total) boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Salt and pepper
4 teaspoons Basil Pesto
1 medium tomato, thinly sliced
6 tbsp. (1.5 oz.) shredded mozzarella cheese
2 teaspoons grated parmesan cheese
DIRECTIONS:
Wash chicken and dry with a paper towel.
Slice chicken breast horizontally to create 4 thinner cutlets. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
Preheat the oven to 400° F. Line baking sheet with foil or parchment if desired for easy clean-up.
Place the chicken on prepared baking sheet. Spread about 1 teaspoon of pesto over each piece of chicken.
Bake for 15 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink in center. Remove from oven; top with tomatoes, mozzarella and parmesan cheese. Bake for an additional 3 to 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
ON THE GRILL:
Grill chicken over medium flame on both sides until cooked through in the center. Lower flame, top chicken with pesto, tomatoes and cheese, and close grill until cheese melts.
