With warmer weather on the horizon, we are seeing the bees bring in pollen.
The pollen provides 
protein for the hive.

WHAT WE ARE SEEING IN OUR HIVES
Five Pollen Types
Right now in Hancock County, GA, we are starting to see signs of the following pollen types identified by their color.
 
Willows - lemon yellow 
Skunk Cabbage - pale yellow 
Spicebush - bright yellow
Alder - brownish yellow 
Red Maples - grey/brown
