Billie DeNunzio, one of our adjunct faculty members, was featured on a news segment with Paige Beck on WCJB TV 20. The pair discussed nutrition, traditional foods, and food trends in the local community. DeNunzio also served as a “Local Celebrity Judge” for Souper Sunday for St. Francis Academy, where she judged recipes from 35 area restaurants and chefs. Proceeds from the event will be invested into a restricted endowment fund to provide student scholarships. She also serves as a lead site evaluator with the American Culinary Federation for secondary and postsecondary school for accreditation for hospitality and culinary schools. We're so proud of you, Billie!

The students of Rayven Crisafulli's Event Management course will be assisting with the planning and management of of the May 2022 St. Augustine History Festival. The class will be developing activity content, marketing content, and students will be executing the planning of the logistics and managing the event onsite! Good luck to all students involved.

Claire Wilbur is a sophomore pursuing a dual degree in Sports Management and Tourism, Hospitality, & Event Management. In November 2021, she was awarded the opportunity to serve as the Assistant to the Vice-Chair

of Operations for Student Government Productions. As the Assistant to the Vice-Chair of Operations, she gets to work hands-on with the planning and implementation process of the day-to-day operations for every concert held at the University of Florida. Additionally, this past summer, she had the  opportunity of working for HoganLax, a premier lacrosse tournament company based out of Severna Park, MD, as the Event Operations and Staff Logistics Intern. Way to go, Claire!
