Pretty on Fridays

A lot happened this week, but I have to say the calculated intervention that my kids put me through early Thursday morning was the real cherry on top. My son lost his tooth but instead of telling my husband and I, he plotted an experiment with his younger sister. An experiment that would later confirm the tooth fairy wasn't real.

So on Thursday morning I walked into what I can only describe as an ambush where they both interrogated me with questions. Questions I was not ready to answer before coffee. Why did you lie to us? What did you do with our teeth in the past? And was Santa fake too? Needless to say I wanted to crawl into a hole and die all before 7am.

So I finally joined the Wordle cult and I don't hate it. If you don't know what I'm talking about, it's a website that posts a new 5-letter word every day and you have 6 tries to guess what it is. Just try it, you'll be addicted. But more importantly, you can then post your results on social media for everyone who doesn't care.

And on the note of frames, I went thrifting again this week. It's become an addiction. Honestly I'm surprised my husband hasn't intervened yet. But I thought it was about time I shared a few of the things I've learned along the way.

Lastly, I don't know who needs to hear this (because I did), but you're supposed to clean your bathroom fan. And you're supposed to do it regularly. I learned that this week, and based on the number of DM's I received on Instagram, I think many of you would benefit from this video. Look at us learning new things together. JUST LOOK AT US.

Things I loved this week

What I'm watching

I know I know, I'm a few years late on this show. But calm down, I just started it this week. And if you haven't seen it yet, there are a ton of seasons to binge. Totally reminded me of A Million Little Things, a show I love.

OK one last thing, I listened to this podcast a friend shared on Instagram this week. It's about friendship, but the first half of it when they discuss introverts and extroverts really resonated with me. Linking it here, I'd love to know your thoughts. I'm planning on doing a deeper dive on introvert and extroverts pretty soon.

Love,

Deema
