Hi friends,

It's been quite the week.

I enjoyed my TV interview and the social media buzz after. The most frequent message I texted on WhatsApp was: Salamat (Get well), as increasing numbers are getting positive COVID/Omicron/Delta results.
That's why my kids' school is now online for a few days. This, in turn, changed my magical Saturday plans (What I call Saturdays when kids go to school) from finishing my podcast episode to hovering over my daughter until her classes ended.

To fix this, I asked my husband to give me an empty house for a few hours in the evening to finish my work, which he wonderfully did. I got five hours.

That's love right there; giving me space to do what I love. Our definitions of love evolve and expand over time, and for that, and for him, I am grateful.

You must know by now that I write this newsletter with love. Thank you for being here, I appreciate that you choose to spend time with me every Sunday, or whatever day of the week you prefer reading this email; that's also love, I feel it, and it warms my heart.

Let me know you love my work by replying to this email, I'd love to hear from you, or by reviewing my podcast on Apple Podcasts, or encouraging your friends to receive their own Sunday Spark using this link.

Don't forget to do your weekly review.

Here is your weekly dose of The Sunday Spark ⚡️ a newsletter listing 5 inspiring things I thought were worth starting your week with:
  1. My brand new podcast episode: How to choose your Word of the Year and the inspiring lists of words I created for you on Instagram.
  2. From my desk: How to get back on track with your New Year’s resolutions? and my TV interview about the same topic last week.
  3. This is a list of super-powerful questions, if you don't know what to journal about, try some.
  4. As the world celebrates love tomorrow, here is a reminder I wrote for you a while ago: You Suffer When Hate.
  5. Are you causing sparks? if not, here is what to do:
"If you’re on a journey but it’s rarely causing a spark, you probably need to make better work. Braver work. Work with more empathy. Once you learn to see, you can learn to improve your craft. Combined with your commitment to the practice, it’s inevitable you’ll produce an impact. If you care enough."
― Seth Godin, The Practice

What was your favorite Spark? I am eager to know. Reply to this email or share with me on my social media.

See you next Sunday 😊 First name / my dear friend.
