We have to be able to recognize a pimp in the pulpit. Sadly, it's a thing!  Some of these men have the same dialect distinction & rhetoric as a pimp named Slick Rick.
 
Here a few reminders: 
  • When you feel like something is off, don't discount your God-given intuition.
  • Don't lose your common sense in your quest to find a suitable church or while attending a church. Every church is not a good church or a good church for you! 
  •  Jezebel loves the 4-wall church. They prey on unsuspecting, vulnerable people. 
  • Pay attention to men that pander to women.
  • We cannot be so committed to man, that we don't follow Christ.
  • Make sure that your pastor's teachings align with the Word of God.
  • Build your relationship with God first and foremost so that you will be able to discern who is who.
  • Hide God’s Word deeply in your heart so that you won’t sin against Him and be easily led astray.
