LET'S TALK ABOUT STARTING YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY BUSINESS

Owning your own photography business is so self gratifying! Imagine setting your own schedule and creating your own list of goals. Having creative rein over how you want your business to be seen by others. Great right?!?

So you bought a camera and maybe even got as far as buying a domain name. But what's next? It's no secret that a lot goes into starting and running a photography business. Let's dive into a few things I think are  important.
HERE THEY ARE!

My top 4  favorite business tools that every newbie needs!

HoneyBook

Honeybook is quite possibly the best thing that I have ever done for my business. This handy little business management tool will keep you organized all in one place. You can send invoices, contracts, emails, and keep

track of what is viewed by your clients the second they open it! Of all the things I recommend to my photographer friends I couldn't recommend Honeybook more!
Flodesk

I love Flodesk for everything that has to do with emails and guides! I use Flodesk pop-ups to capture emails. It's a platform where I can store my entire email list in organized segments. Plus I can create beautiful email templates and guides for clients.
I always encourage photographers to begin growing their email list as soon as possible! Flodesk is a great affordable way to get started!  I highly recommend Flodesk for all your email list needs!

ShootProof

Wondering how photographers deliver all their beautiful work to clients? Shootproof! Its the greatest medium to deliver images. Shootproof allows for clients to view, download, and print. Each personal gallery has its own link that you can copy and share with your clients.

Shooting large events? You can even choose to watermark your images so they can't be stolen before being purchased. Shootproof also allows for BOGO or sales. Who doesn't love a good sale? Shootproof will make you look professional to your clients.

Mentoring Sessions

I highly recommend booking mentoring sessions. After all, learning from a pro in this business is a great way to learn. Why not learn from their wisdom? Reach out to a photographer you admire. Write down a list of questions beforehand and be prepared.

Always keep learning! When you stop learning you stop evolving as a photographer. Want to set up a mentoring session? I would love to teach you all the ins and outs of this business. We can even go over editing skills either in person or over the phone.

Friends!
I am so glad you are here. Remember to never say no, to stay relevant and never stop learning! Find your personal muse whether it is a person, a place, or a hobby.
Remember to always do you boo.
