To be honest, this past week has been pretty dark. Like most of the world, I’ve been following the Ukraine invasion updates with a mixture of grief and bewilderment. But also, a heavy dose of admiration for the grit & determination of the Ukrainians who are defending their country. I am heartbroken for the Ukrainian people who are affected by the terrible and unjust invasion. 

If you feel compelled to help, there are a TON of fantastic organizations out there that are in need of your donations. I chose United Help Ukraine, a non-profit that provides life-saving medical aid and humanitarian relief to the front lines and displaced people.

Though this invasion has cast a dark shadow over the world, I am inspired by those that continue to create art in times of tragedy. Creating art doesn't stop the horrors of the world from happening, but it reminds us of the beauty that humans are capable of creating.
