Hi friends,

Can you feel it?

The earth is waking up, and you are too.

Do you feel you are ready to leave hibernation and get out there? By there, I  mean more outward than inward, more moving than reflecting, more executing than contemplating; God knows Iā€™ve done a lot of the latter lately.

To honor the transition we are about to experience, I have spent some time reading prayers for new beginnings over the last weekend, and they were indeed transcendent.

I invite you to do the same.

I invite you to connect to mother nature as itā€™s waking up from its slumber. Allow it to infuse you with its power to show up at your best, to ā€œspring forthā€ the transformed you. Take time to set intentions to bloom where you are planted, as the author Lara Casey always says.

As we will receive the holy month of Ramadan in April, we in the Arab world have this one month before another change to our routine occurs.

Be smart when you do your monthly review, which is due this week, and consider that in your plans for March. Make the most of it to advance your goals and commit to your habits.

I leave you with this poem, five sparks, and a brand new podcast episode šŸ‘‡

Spring isā€¦
The reminder that delicate shoots must push through dirt.
The realization of how much darkness we survived.
The time of indecision, of restless clouds and soft sunshine.
The knowledge that not everything blooms at the same time.
The astonishment of regrowth, of the forgotten reawakening.
The season of hope, of trying before you know you'll succeed.

Do you see the raindrops?

Here is your weekly dose of The Sunday Spark āš”ļø a newsletter listing 5 inspiring things I thought were worth starting your week with:
  1. From my desk: Coming from an Industrial Engineering background and an excellent experience in Six Sigma projects, I like to catch defects in processes and improve them. Likewise, I enjoy noticing friction points in my day-day life and solving them. Here are some examples of what I did to Overcome Friction and Master Habits.
  2. A podcast to help you learn more about the four seasons of your menstrual cycle that I shared in episode 36 of my podcast is Menstruality Podcast which offers "Inspiring conversations with the pioneers and creatives who are putting menstrual cycle awareness and conscious menopause at the heart of life".
  3. I like to start the day with my personalized Momentum plus tab which helps me stay focused with a powerful mantra, an inspiring image, a to-do list, countdowns to big dates, and world clocks where I keep an eye on time zones of friends and family living abroad before contacting them. Being a newsletter friend, you would get a special offer of a 10% discount when you subscribe to Momentum Plus with the promo code: bardees.
  4. As winter is ending, I am still reading the last few chapters of a book I mentioned before in this newsletter called Wintering. It will definitely be an annual read for me. If you love the four seasons topic like me, you will enjoy this visually delightful little book Grow Through It too.
  5. A timely quote for your pleasure:
"More than any other season, winter requires a kind of metronome that ticks away its darkest beats, giving us a melody to follow into spring. The year will move on no matter what, but by paying attention to it, feeling its beat, and noticing the moments of transitionā€”perhaps even taking time to think about what we want from the next phase in the yearā€”we can get the measure of it.."
