Here at Ruminate, we've been hard at work over the last several months to get our Winter 2021-2022 issue, Beginnings and Endings, into our subscribers' hands. As many literary magazines and presses have discovered throughout this stage of the pandemic, paper is in short supply and printers are very short-staffed. Lead times have stretched from two weeks to upwards of three months.

The good news?

Issue 61 is finally near the top of our printer's queue! We expect that our subscriptions and single-order issues will arrive by mid- to late-March.

If you'd rather peruse a digital copy, you can order one right now at the link above.

The issue is packed full of poems by Arah Ko (our poetry-prize winner), Christine Swint (our runner-up), Jane Medved (honorable mention), and work from four additional finalists. You'll also find short stories, essays, art, and reader's notes that speak to our staff's chosen theme.

A note: If you are on an automatically-renewing subscription plan, we have temporarily paused all recurring orders through the end of March. This means you will not be charged for a new quarterly or year-long plan until we are well into our work on Issue 62. As always, we track every issue you pay for, so you'll never miss a forthcoming copy, no matter any potential delays from our printer!
