Hi friends,

Two years ago, I hired a coach for 10 months who, in our bi-weekly meetings, turned on the lights for me whenever I felt stuck and needed a new set of lenses to see differently.

I have had a success partner for four years, which is the new cool name I am using to call my accountability partner,  who has been listening to me every week as I share the progress in my goals and notices where I am holding myself back, while I do the same for her.

I have circles of close friends and family members with whom I share my life updates and who, in turn, celebrate my successes.

Yes, I am lucky to be sharing my life and getting support in different ways. My oldest and most available life coach and companion, nonetheless, remains paper, my constant change catalyst for as long as I can remember.

Paper has always captured my happiness and misery. I only understood my inner critic when I let it speak on paper; writing offered space between me and the voice in my head that I thought was me.

Thanks to paper, I could be the observer of my thoughts instead of being overcome by them as I see them locked into the pages.

Writing my grief and anger down helped me process them better.

Writing my “stormy” first drafts helped me have better conversations with those I love.

Writing my affirmations helped me believe I can liberate myself from past beliefs that don’t serve me anymore. As a matter of fact, I could never remember my affirmations when I needed them until I started writing them every morning.

Writing enabled me to tap into my inner wisdom, which was there since the day I was born, but it was too noisy inside to hear.

Paper will always serve you. Even when you hire a life coach, you still go back to paper when your coach asks you to journal your experiences and see what newfound awareness you come across.

When you set new goals, you still need paper to reflect on your past and envision your most cherished future. Having a consistent journaling habit will make reflection a second nature for you.

Journaling is the foundation for a creative, self-aware life and I believe this with all my heart.

As you may know by now, journaling has been a habit of mine since my teenage years, and I worked so hard to develop material to help others adopt it as a habit they too can learn.

Join me in the upcoming Journaling Workshop on March 15th at 8 PM Amman Time to receive its numerous benefits. Let me guide you and support you from my own experience and the many books I read about it as you take your first steps, or provide you with new methods if you are already a seasoned journaler.

During our 2 hours together on Zoom (replay available after), I’ll teach you 10 types of journaling and show you how to start this habit right away and will also provide you with a PDF of more than 50 journaling prompts to support you, in addition to a Telegram group for 2 weeks to follow up on you.

Who, in your life, would need such a workshop? Please do them a favor and tell them about it by forwarding this newsletter to register now.

I am looking forward to seeing you inside
