I’m lucky. As a female business owner with a team filled with some incredibly talented ladies, women's empowerment is something I get to experience every day of the year. Still, Women's History Month has been a uniquely special time for my team and I to reflect on and be intentional about honoring all the women that have paved the way. We're also celebrating those who are lighting the path ahead, both within the public relations industry and outside of it.

 

One key way I’ve tried to celebrate and uplift women is by partnering with female clients who are seriously inspirational in their own fields (scroll down to get inspired). It’s a true honor for my team and I to support these women as they grow their audience and spread their messages. Not only are their stories important and relevant for every person, regardless of gender, age, race, or identity, but I believe that these women have the ability to impact the next generation of young female leaders. 

 

So, even as Women’s History Month comes to a close, I’m excited for what we as women have in store - and I encourage you to find ways to empower the women in your life throughout the year.
