Hey!

Mystery tip time!!!

Here are just 3 ways to make action steps more powerful:

1. Clear on what to do, without any of the overwhelm or unnecessary tasks in between. If I have to make sense of the order of the action steps or to draw them out from the content myself, that's an extra task that I need to do. I would rather spend that time doing the actual action step.

🌟 A simple way of doing this is to provide a workbook with the action steps or a summary of the action steps to be taken. Or to keep to just one action step per lesson.

2. What's in it for me? This also has to do with the human driving forces or the human needs. As someone who is driven by growth, if there's something to learn from taking action, I'll do it.

🌟 This is something that you implement even before you get to the action step. It's the reason for which your clients should care about doing the work. Both the big picture and the immediate reward πŸ˜‰

3. Know that there's something that comes after. You'd think that knowing there are more action steps to be taken would be overwhelming but no. When we know this is not the end and that there's something exciting right around the corner, motivation increases.

🌟 Just like when we would play a game. We go through the first level and we're excited about the next one too. This sparks curiosity. A simple way of implementing this is to tie the action step in with something they get to do in a future module. Hinting to the exciting journey that's yet to be explored.

Have an expansive time and I'll catch you in the next one!

Hugs,

Tini
