The Brief:

In The Lost Issue, Malaysian lecturer Juliani Shafie shares the journey of completing her doctorate in Brazil, which was an eye-opener for her, while Bombay-based lawyer Krish relates his refreshed views of the city populated by over 20 million people.

Santiago Zapata returns with a feature of his photography work, which flourished over the lockdowns. Kenneth Amparo reveals how being stuck on an island in the Philippines due to the pandemic gave him a new perspective of life.

We also scored interviews with individuals in Sydney, London and Penang. I’ll let you discover the other stories which have truly enlightened and inspired us in the making of this issue.
