Meet your Neighborhood Liaisons We would love to introduce you to your neighborhood liaisons (formerly known as “neighborhood captains”). Many of the neighborhoods in Superior, Louisville, UBC has a member(s) of the community (many of them survivors themselves) who have stepped up to be somebody to support their neighborhoods. This group has been helpful in supporting neighbors stay informed of more localized, neighborhood-specific discussions. Their work has included setting up neighborhood meetings and listening to concerns of their neighbors, and sharing those questions and concerns with others (like local municipalities) to help in recovery efforts. If you don't know your neighborhood liaison, we'd encourage you to reach out to them on Slack so you can learn more about how to get plugged in. |
