Hi First name / friend—
→ Friendships are underrated channels to heal & grow.
Think about a time when you laughed until you cried just hanging out on the couch, or danced in the streets at 1am, or divulged deep stories over a high-vibe dinner. There's a unique type of soul expansion that happens in social care — one that you simply cannot find sitting on a meditation cushion or reciting your affirmations.
That’s the best way I can describe the feeling I recently experienced in Cartagena, Colombia, making memories with some of my best friends from college.
I realized social care has some seriously potent spiritual alchemy. Friends allow you to get outside the silo of your self and shift your perspective. They are conduits for release & joy. Friendship makes our lowest moments bearable and the incredible moments unforgettable.
↣ Greek Philosopher Aristotle once described friendship as:
“The art of holding up a mirror to each other’s souls.”
While people either come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime - all crossed paths have a divine purpose.
↣ In my latest article on The Channel, I explore the soul-connection of social care — a channel of healing often lost in the seriousness of shadow work.
I wrote this not only for you, but a reminder for me as well.
Forward this to a friend or loved one to express your gratitude for them today.
