Hey!

When designing a course, it's important to think about our clients' experience from multiple angles. Think of it as moving into a completely new house. You want to have elements in there that remind of home. To create that sense of comfort and stability.

The need for certainty & variety. How do you bring both of these into your course?

These are 2 distinct human needs. One is about stability and the other is about flexibility.

We talked about bringing curiosity elements, keeping things fresh, and thinking about unique ways to get someone to take action.

So, how do we bring certainty and stability in the course at the same time?

Introducing: the floating feature ๐Ÿ‘ป

This is a feature that is present at all times throughout the course. It's there to provide stability. Whenever things get tough, they know this is their safety, reminds them of home, comforts them.

For instance, in a course on weight loss, the floating feature could be the way the food is distributed on the plate.

Or when designing a mini-course, the structure might be the floating feature. Even though the content changes, the way the structure flows provides certainty.

What's the floating feature in your course?

Have an expansive time and I'll catch you in the next one!

Hugs,

Tini
