Hello Friend!
It's time for a new semester of Inklings, and I can hardly wait to dive in! This semester we are looking forward to accepting the invitation from President Russell M Nelson to ignite spiritual momentum.
President Nelson told us about a sundial he had seen with a poem inscribed on its surface. I am so intrigued with the last two lines, “One hour alone is in your hands, ––the now on which the shadow stands.”
The now.
A focus on how we spend our time each day.
And has anyone else been thinking about that a lot lately? Those words were the jumpstart my soul needed.
This semester we will have six monthly focuses.
APRIL - How We Spend our Time Each Day
MAY - Get on the Covenant Path and Stay There
JUNE - Discover the Joy of Daily Repentance
JULY - Learn about God and How He Works
AUGUST - Seek and Expect Miracles
SEPTEMBER - End Conflict in your Personal Life
The first reading assignment will be delivered tomorrow, Sunday, April 10. You can watch for it on Instagram and also on the APP. (PS, cute Megan, who updates our APP, has been on a family vacation and they are having trouble getting flights home! They have been delayed 24 hours, but hope to be home tomorrow to get us up and going for week one!)
