Have you noticed the brown landscape slowly turning green?
All this rain and snow is causing things to grow. Spring is an exciting season of growth as buds swell and crocus bloom. As the world comes alive outside, growth is happening on the inside as well. You'll find my personal reflections on this below in my most recent blog post ‘Growing Slow’.
I'm still coming off a high from our One-Year Anniversary celebration last weekend. Thank you to all who stopped by and for all the well wishes. It means so much to us that you choose to spend your time here and support this dream shoppe of mine. A special thank you to my husband, Neil, (pictured above) and my friend, Jane Schmidt, who you'll see at the shoppe when I'm not there.
Now that we have one year under our belt, we are ready and excited about the year ahead - especially Spring. It holds a feeling of hope, growth, and possibility. Let's embrace it!

She blooms. It's the month of April, and the 'Sweet Lillian' Amaryllis that I planted back in December finally is blooming. The bulb, buried up to her shoulders in potting mix, sat for what seemed forever. Daily I watched and waited, wondering if she was going to bloom this year or not. . .
