Hey First name / friend! Coming off of a busy weekend over here - this was the first weekend we got some sunshine and the outdoors were calling! I'm sitting here sipping my coffee (as part of my non-negotiable morning routine, more on that in a bit) and planning out my week ahead. One of my dogs- Bella is getting stem cell treatments done on her elbows tomorrow, so I want to make sure everything else I need to take care of is done so I can focus on keeping Bella comfy this week. She has degenerative elbow disease and this treatment has amazing results, so I'm really looking forward to seeing her out of pain and back to her old self.

Ok so back to talking about morning routines. When was the last time you evaluated your morning routine to see if it was working for you? I try to do this often, always seeing whats working for me and whats not.. How awesome is that?? We literally can design small sections of our day that help us be our best self. Of course there's always things outside of our control but having a few non-negotiables that make you feel good can be really impactful. Here's a friendly invitation to do so too!

Here are my current non-negotiables to start my day off great:
 
  1. Setting it up the night before and taking this tart cherry to get the best sleep quality so I wake up refreshed. This is the one I've been using and it's been a total game changer!
  2. First thing in the morning, I down 12 oz of water with Athletic Greens - I've been doing this religiously for about 2 months now and I feel amazing on it! I love that it replaces 22 supplements so I can just drink and go.
  3. Getting fresh air within the 1st hour of waking. Getting outside right in the morning can not only invigorate our bodies, but it also helps to set our internal clock/circadian rhythm
  4. Intentionally waiting an hour or more before consuming caffeine. Ok this one might be the most impactful of all. Letting our body wake up naturally vs shocking it with caffeine has been way more gentle on my nervous system. Because of this, my coffee time is much more enjoyable!
