Hi friends,

Happy 100th day of the year!

April 10th marks the 100th of the year, and I think you would agree that it's such a good number to celebrate something today, so what is it going to be for you?

I'll help you get started; maybe you could...

Celebrate the kind words you heard
Celebrate books you read or started
Celebrate places you visited
Celebrate the money you spent
Celebrate the money you saved
Celebrate a class you joined
Celebrate movies you watched
Celebrate spaces you cleared of clutter
Celebrate the number of steps you walked
Celebrate the presentations you delivered
Celebrate the jobs you applied for
Celebrate the habit chains you created
Celebrate listening to a podcast for the first time
Celebrate fixing your bedtime
Celebrate committing to your skincare routine
Celebrate eating better
Celebrate your health
Celebrate the promise of spring
Celebrate the courses you invested your time and money in
Celebrate the memories you created with loved ones.
Celebrate the new people you met
Celebrate that you are finally "running into new people", not just seeing them on screens.

It's a day worth celebrating, and we can make up all sorts of days and reasons for celebration; most important of all would be that we are still here, alive, and I'm sure for a reason.

My question to you today is, what will you do in the next 100 days?

Imagine your summer starting, while you feel fantastic because you achieved the few goals you chose to focus on and get done by the end of the second quarter of the year.

Let's use this excellent new chance to make great strides towards our goals, shall we?

I can't wait to see what you would come up with.

Last week was the transitional week into a new quarter, my tote bags were heavier than usual as I carried my 2 quarterly planners with me to do my first quarterly review of the year and copy any notes I needed into proper contexts while also enjoying writing on the brand new one. Get yours with 10% discount using code Bardees10.

Here is your weekly dose of The Sunday Spark āš”ļø a newsletter listing 5 inspiring things I thought were worth starting your week with:

  1. šŸ“£ Coach Muna Shakour launched her online parenting courseā€œHow to Get Kids to Listen: Without yelling, threatening or punishing, and it is incredible! If you are a parent or a caregiver and want a better relationship with your little ones, this course will help you, just like it helped me when I took it with the examples and tools that extended my parenting skills and patience. Go get this course and start watching and learning at your own pace.
  2. šŸŒ· I never thought about flowers in this way! Read this post slowly and enjoy the poem Bloom.
  3. From my desk: When I did my first quarterly review of the year, I realized I needed to troubleshoot this not-yet-a-habit morning step. Here is How to Troubleshoot a Positive Behavior into Becoming a Habit.
  4. šŸŽ§ A podcast episode to listen to if you want a fresh perspective on Procrastination by the topic expert himself Dr. Tim Pychyl. I could not stop taking notes the whole time I listened.
  5. Just in case you needed this reminder today:
ā€œWe all have a purpose in our lives, even if we donā€™t know right now what that purpose is. I want you to hear this: you were designed for more. You were made for a life that brings joy and satisfaction to yourself and to others."
ā€• Tanya Dalton, On Purpose

  1. I like to start the day with my personalized Momentum plus tab, which helps me stay focused with a powerful mantra, an inspiring image, a to-do list, countdowns to big dates, and world clocks where I keep an eye on time zones of friends and family living abroad before contacting them. Being a newsletter friend, you would get a special offer of a 10% discount when you subscribe to Momentum Plus with the promo code: bardees.
  2. In the past two years, my work routine pretty much consists of going over to Brain Fm, selecting deep work mode and time duration; the rest is... focus. You get 20% discount on your subscription using my code: bardees.
