Did you know that nearly one million pounds of food is landfilled just in Franklin County every single day? That's the bad news.
The good news is, it doesn't have to be that way! If food scraps are composted correctly they are no longer WASTE, but a sustainable, nutrient-dense growing medium that will nourish the soil, and produce the next crop of food!
This is not an issue that only effects our large cities! The city of Delaware sees this as a huge problem, and we here at Price Farms agree! The city is researching ways to help combat this problem.
We at Price Farms have started allowing food scraps from residents of Delaware County to be dropped off at our facility for FREE! For more information or questions on this program, please contact us directly.
