Hi First name / there! I hope you're having a lovely weekend.
 
I've been a bit quiet because I'm wrapping up all of the final details for my new collection that's being released this Thursday! If you have ever released a collection of work I'm sure you know how much of your heart and soul goes into creating the collection, let alone all of the marketing and behind the scenes stuff we have to do! Phew…it's SO worth it though.
 
Anywho, I wanted to send you a quick email because I was listening to my favorite vlog as I was folding laundry today and I wanted to share it with you. You may already know him, but Nicholas Wilton has a vlog he releases every Sunday. It is GOLD!
 
In one of my favorite episodes he talks about the essential ingredient in your art. PASSION. 
 
Passion is so important when it comes to creating art and sharing it with the world.
 
If you're passionate about the work you're creating, it becomes easier to talk and share about it authentically.
 
I think people crave authenticity in the world right now and if you share your work with that fiery passion you feel when making it, that will come off so clear to the world. 
 
I noticed a shift in my mindset and my paintings when I started to create art that I was super passionate about. I never wanted to leave the studio. I would find myself painting in my head as I was daydreaming. It would be a struggle falling asleep sometimes because I was thinking about painting (okay, this kind of sucked haha!). 
 
Before I discovered my authentic creative voice it felt like a struggle to share my work. Because it didn't feel 100% me. Creating work that feels so true to who you are will spark that passion within you.
