Legal Aid Society Launches New Medical-Legal Partnership for Veterans
In partnership with the Robley Rex VA Hospital and the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law, Legal Aid Society will hold weekly office hours at the VA Hospital to address the civil legal issues facing veterans and their families. 
 
Legal Aid Society attorney and Vietnam War Veteran, Roy Berwick, will be on-site at Robley Rex every Monday from 1 PM - 5 PM to provide legal assistance on issues related to housing, health, income, and veteran-specific issues.

During the first quarter of 2022, Legal Aid Society promoted three long-time staff members to our leadership team.  With a new management structure, Legal Aid Society is working to streamline processes and create cross-unit coordination to better reach and serve our client populations.
