PHOTO OF THE WEEK

After many visits to Nova Scotia, we finally made it to the Annapolis Valley where we visited a variety of places, including Grand Pre National Historic Site. There’s loads of historic sites in the area but this one is all about the Acadian people that called this area home since the 1700’s. Everything was burned down during the war with England but some memorials were re-built, such as this lovely church. Despite being a young country, Canada has so much history.
