Mood Collage: Rugs

Transform a Space with a Pretty Rug

Hi friends,
How has this month been for you? I feel like it has flown by yet also dragged on. We are finishing our primary bathroom renovation and we are over the moon with excitement to get our house back in order! I'm really looking forward to sharing the process with you and the after!

This month I had an opportunity to collaborate with Loloi and share the Georgie rug line from Amber Interiors. I wanted to show you you how they all blend in our home from one space to another. It was fun to change up the looks in each room with colors that add warmth and interest to our neutral home. I'll link them for you in case one catches your eye!

As we head into May I feel like it's a good time to pause, reflect and take a deep breath. As the school year begins to wind down there are always so many events, celebrations and important milestones to recognize! Life can get hectic and crazy at times. And then there are times when life events sneak up on you. Some shake you, surprise you and rattle you to your core. But in the end it's how we pick ourselves back up and start that new day that matters. And if we need help picking ourselves back up then so be it! You don't have to feel alone. I share this because I recently realized I needed to deal with some past trauma that I had been compartmentalizing for too long. So I made the step to reach out to a counselor/therapist and had a great 1st session.

I share this personal tidbit with the hopes of encouraging others to seek out help so you don't have to suffer in silence or feel alone in your feelings. As a nurse I have always valued the importance of a holistic approach to caring for ourselves - mind, body and spirit. If one area is off it spills into the other. With Mother's Day approaching it's a good reminder to take the time to pause and really invest in our health because as the saying goes if we aren't good then we can't be good for our family, children and others.

Big hugs & early Happy Mother's Day to all the mamas,
Beth

Shop My Favorites for Mother's Day
Every single item I've linked I own and love. From the pretty vase I use weekly for my flowers to the belt bag I wear when I'm on the go  - these are the items that I feel make great gifts for any mama! The hair dryer is a splurge but was one of the best Mother's Day gifts Dion surprised me with many years ago! The coffee maker is an absolute dream and I'm so glad they have new colors - so many choices to match your kitchen while brewing the best coffee ever! The bike is so fun for cruising around the neighborhood and I love the color. Simple, pretty jewelry that you can wear everyday along with the personal alarm for safety. Lastly, who doesn't love sipping wine from a pretty modern glass?

Trader Joe's Finds

Trader Joe's Limone Alfredo Sauce is back. We love this sauce and it's my favorite sauce for my homemade prosciutto arugula pizza! I've linked the recipe I created and recently shared as a reel on IG. I'm also loving these artichokes on the go - they are so good and great for salads or a quick healthy snack. Don't forget to pick up a reusable flower bag the next time you go - they are too cute and good for the environment!
