We're so excited to share some news about this special exhibit coming up next month! 

 

Starting on the 4th of June, we're hosting a retrospective show featuring the works of renowned printmaker, William Weege (1935-2020), a pillar in the printmaking and papermaking fields in the United States and beyond.

 

Weege, a UW-Madison professor and founder of Tandem Press, was a believer in experimentation and pushing the limits and boundaries of printmaking. He approached art and life with great enthusiasm and delighted in creative problem solving.

 

His works can be found worldwide in numerous private collections and museums including The Museum of Modern Art in New York, The Art Institute of Chicago, the Philadelphia Museum of Art and the British Museum in London. And now, we so excited to share his work with you right here in Mineral Point!

 

There will be a variety of pieces in a variety of price points. Original works available, framed and ready to hang. Some smaller pieces too, unframed in sleeves, ready to find loving homes.

 

Lots of really incredible pieces. Definitely not to be missed!
