Hey,

Not all action steps in a course need to be go-go-go style. Sometimes, it pays off to insert a simple, yet powerful action step in there. This will help your clients recharge and feel excited again.

Keeping the action steps balanced throughout the course ensure your clients are moving forward. Because they feel like they are taking a break, without getting the feeling that they're starting everything all over again.

This comes straight from weight loss land. If we keep doing the same workout over and over again, eating the same foods, same amounts, at some point, the body is going to reach what is called “a plateau”.

And all it takes to start seeing results again is to change up the routine.

One way of doing this is through questions. The purpose of these questions is to help your clients see the world from a different perspective.

For instance, one of my clients has a course on weight loss through personal development.

One of the questions that will act as a light action step could be:

“What is one habit that your future self has that you don't have right now?”

We're not asking them to do anything but look at things differently and become aware of the fact that they do, in fact, know what needs to happen to get the results they are looking for.

Their need for variety is being met. And they don't have to find that somewhere else.

Have an expansive time and I'll catch you in the next one!

Hugs,

Tini
