Good Morning to Morning Pages Once Again! For the past few weeks, I've been writing my “Morning Pages”, 2-3 pages of anything and everything that's on my mind - and there is a lot! In Julia Cameron's Artist's Way, the book that encouraged people (not just artists) around the world to "provoke, clarify, comfort, cajole, prioritize and synchronize the day at hand", Morning Pages are central to creating anew. Since re-starting this practice, I love the brain dump aspect, along with the release of all the ideas competing for attention in my head! What a relief! This is me MP-ing in my new notebook @ 8 am out back with my chai tea. HOW DO YOU GROUND YOURSELF IN THE MORNING? |

Do you ever feel like you're running out of time to do things, but aren't exactly sure WHAT things you should be doing? Cue TIME ANXIETY. In this blog post by Chris Guillebeau, he describes Time Anxiety as the most pressing problem of our age, where you “ experience regret about the past, a lack of clarity about the future, and general disorganization in the present.” Unlike FOMO, which focuses on missing out in the present, Time Anxiety is different. We feel it even when we're productive and accomplished, because we know we should be living in the moment (because we are running out of time), but don’t always know how, which leads to feeling anxious. As a multipassionate portfolioist, this resonates deeply for me. Being aware of this pattern is step # 1 in combatting my own time anxiety for sure. HOW DO YOU MANAGE TIME ANXIETY? |

Simple and powerful, it reminds us that sometimes, all we (and others) need is a little push to get back on track. Great to reference in 1:1 coaching work! WHAT CAN YOU DO TO FIND YOUR / SOMEONE ELSE'S SPARK? |

Typatone is an online instrument by Lullatone and Jono Brandel that converts text to tone. Each letter you type into the app produces a unique note, so once you type in words r sentences you hear a symphony! So much fun to hear what my name sounds like, plus I could easily share it with others - so fun! Interesting to combine text and tone in this way. WHAT WILL YOUR TEXT SOUND LIKE? |
