3 Days to immerse yourself in the realm of BEING through practices that can empower & transform your life. The world is becoming increasingly detached from the power that sits within our bodies, and so many people suffer from conditions of anxiety, fear & self-doubt.
Much of the problem is related to our inability to relax and feel connected to our true nature, BLISS.
We spend most of our time in our minds and forget to pay attention to the incredible knowledge that sits within our body.
Through Yoga, meditation & ancient Chinese practices like Chi-gong we are going to dive deeper into ourselves to realized that within us exists a sanctuary able to nurture & heal our body mind & spirit.
We only need to create the necessary space to explore these realities to manifest them so that we can then carry them with us during our normal life as a resource of self-healing.
We are going to enjoy the beautiful countryside of the north of Italy, residing in a 500 years old castle that is filled with art & beauty, surrounded by majestic mountains, enjoying food grown locally and cooked by a renowned chef that will provide us with authentic Italian cuisine for lunch & dinner each day.
My name is Beatrice Gilbo I was born and raised in Rome, Italy and have lived in Cape Town since 2012.
Philosophy is one of my greatest interests and the philosophy of Yoga has forever transformed my life for the better.
I have practiced & taught yoga for the past 7 years. Practicing different styles from Yin, Ashtanga & Vinyasa yoga.
I am currently studying to become a Chi-gong & Thai-chi teacher.
I believe that the key to becoming empowered humans is to "know ourselves" by doing so we can transform much of the suffering of our lives into a powerful experience that deepens our connection to self and others, much of this knowledge sits in our bodies, much of this knowledge is accessible through conscious breath work, movement & relaxation.
Our chef, Lodovico, comes from the prestigious Italian cooking academy Alma and has worked in some of the finest restaurants both in Italy and in the rest of Europe.
Deeply passionate about natural products and particularly skilled in the Italian cuisine, Lodo will delight our guests with a mix of vegetarian or vegan delicacies in harmony with Beatrice's yoga practice.
THE PROGRAM FOR FRIDAY
8.15 am - Wake up - time to drink tea, chai, raw hot chocolate or coffee.
8.45 am - Gentle Yin Yoga class - to awaken awareness in the body and create a sense of relaxation.
9.45 am - A small break to use bathroom &
have some more refreshments, fresh orange/pomegranate juice or teas.
10 am - An intro on the basic movements of vinyasa Yoga
Sun salutation A & B spending time to learn
the correct alignment before moving into vinyasa yoga.
11 am - 20 minutes of sitting meditation.
11.20 am - We’ll serve some fresh fruits & breakfast snack before lunch.
1 pm - Lunch will be served as picnic in the garden by our chef.
Relax time in the sun enjoying the property garden & small forest
5 pm - Vinyasa yoga - an active flow.
8 pm - Dinner outside under the magical Tigli trees (photo).
