BEAVER BITES

  • Do you like to get your restaurant recommendations from a tire company? If so, you've probably heard of Michelin Guides, which have somehow become synonymous with the best or most high-end restaurants. However, up until now, they've mostly ignored Canada. This Fall, however, Michelin starts reviewing restaurants in Toronto

  • It's no secret that Canada's real estate prices are out of control. It has certainly made us consider moving out of Calgary, Canada's 5th most expensive city. Perhaps Saint John, New Brunswick, which is one of the cheapest cities to live in Canada with an average home price of $187,519. We'll be making videos there this year so perhaps we'll take a look.

  • Have a family member that can't enjoy Must Do Canada as much due to a bad internet connection? That might end soon. There are now 32 countries where SpaceX’s satellite internet service Starlink is now available, covering most of Europe and North America. Now everyone can watch us on Youtube :)

  • People are certainly back to flying again. I know we are. In fact, 459,412 air travellers flew to Canada between April 25th and May 1st. Yes, you read that right. In one week! That's 17x more than this time last year.

  • Pope Francis is visiting Canada this year, including visits to Edmonton, Quebec City, and Iqaluit. If you want to recommend any of our travel guides, perhaps we can get him rafting?

  • Visiting Vancouver soon? Vancouver Aquarium has unveiled a new exhibit highlighting miracles in conservation.
