Design Philosophy
Focus on the story
The Bible contains the greatest stories ever told. What's best is that every story teaches us about Christ. So why isn't Bible design better geared towards highlighting these powerful stories? After much trial and error the NASB HIStory Bible was born. We designed this Bible to help the reader focus on the story. It's designed to make you pause after every story, regardless if it's half a chapter or two chapters. Don't get us wrong, verses and chapters will be there, but their design is minimal and unobtrusive.
Drop Caps
Drop caps that tell a story
Another important element that we've added to this Bible is custom drop caps. Every drop cap tells a story of Christ, and each letter is designed to be unique. Drop caps not only add style but emphasis, the reader will find these, not at the beginning of each chapter, but at the beginning of every story.
 
Typesetting is almost complete, we're currently in the middle of the New Testament. 
 
We'll release more information on the design next month. 
 
Pre-orders will begin this summer.
