While I'm constantly on the move scouting materials and gathering resources, it's safe to say that this trip has made me appreciate this city even more. After many years, I must admit that Berlin has become more expensive. It's understandable. Because the current gas price is exorbitant, the government has instituted a flat-rate ticket of EUR9 for travel throughout Germany via regional trains, S-Bahn, and U-Bahn. If you plan to visit Germany, learn more about it. The ticket is valid from June to August. Perfect for your summer vacation.
