Hi friends,

I am sending you this email with a full heart as I am about to start teaching all I know about habits to my workshop clients. If it’s you, what are you doing here? Join Zoom now 😁 . If not, I hope you will join me next time.

Have you done your weekly review yet?

It’s one of the essential productivity and time management habits out there, and I meant to create this template from the questions I love to use every week to make it easier for you to start the habit.

All you need to do is download it, print several copies, and fill them out every week. Or do what my friend did; she printed it and taped it in her notebook to refer to the questions every week. That is a nice workaround. Until I create my own paper planner someday, that is 😉.

By the way, if I design and launch a paper planner, would you buy it? Please reply to this email and encourage me to turn it into a goal soon.

After you complete your weekly reviews, give yourself a little cheer, brag to a friend, or take a photo and tag me on social media. This little celebration anchors this behavior and helps you turn it into a habit sooner.

If you are already committed to your weekly reviews, YAY YOU! You are likely ready to move to the monthly assessment and planning - due this upcoming weekend- because weekly reviews make it way easier.

My favorite part about planning a new month is setting dates of important events, like family plans, school functions, and due dates of my projects like workshops and podcast episodes, then creating the space to work on them.

For example, based on my monthly planning for May, I spent two Saturdays working in a coffee shop on my habits workshop while the kids were at school because I knew from experience that changing environments helps me focus better than working at home while thinking of unfinished chores, and it worked like magic.

Try this trick for important deliverables. Work in different environments!

  4. I love this innovative browser extension to read faster that was recommended by Tim Ferriss, try Bionic-Reading now for free. So cool.
  5. Do you practice visualization? I plan to work more on it in the coming weeks, here is some great advice quoted from the book Creative Visualization:
“You can end your visualization with the firm statement to yourself:

This, or something better, now manifests for me in totally satisfying and harmonious ways, for the highest good of all concerned.

This statement leaves room for something different and even better than you had originally envisioned happening, and serves as a reminder to you that this process only functions for the mutual benefit of all."
