Hello to all of our Queensland boarding schools,

Just jumping back into your emails to let you know we're heading up to Blackall for the Queensland ICPA State Conference next week.

We're very proud of our long association with ICPA and proud to be a GOLD Partner for their 2022 State Conference.

I'm a bit excited as my son is on a station a couple of hours south of Mount Isa so I'm just that bit closer for a few days. Half way closer to be exact! He can't pop down as they're in full swing with muster, but for this Mum from Trangie, NSW it will feel good nevertheless.

Adelaide, Emma and I are looking forward to meeting as many of you as possible - we know that dedicated Boarding School Expo events are a ‘newish’ concept for Queensland but if meeting us and having a chat brings you closer to testing the waters then we'd love that opportunity.

Boarding Schools Profile

Just over two weeks ago we held our first event for 2022 in Dubbo. We welcomed 35 boarding schools from Sydney, Brisbane, Canberra and regional NSW.

Our events are completely dedicated to families looking for the right boarding school for their child/ren. Events are FREE for families to attend - they always have been and they always will be. At each and every event the ICPA State Council attends and we're really proud to support them by providing a booth, along with advertising partnerships throughout the lead up each year. This is the 18th year of BSEA and over 10,500 children have now attended.

At Dubbo we hosted 169 families including 417 children across the one and a half days of the Expo.

Some families travel hundreds of kilometres to attend, with one traveling 917km one way from Milparinka in far north west NSW. It's easier and less intimidating for families to meet with representatives from dozens of schools under one roof than travelling to major regional centres or cities. We are so excited for our very first fully dedicated event in Queensland. We have 12 schools that have registered to attend and we've extended a Queensland special - for our northern QLD schools it's slightly different with a combination deal to attend Mount Isa and exhibit on our virtual platform ‘Boarding Expo 365’. For those boarding schools in southern regional QLD (eg Toowoomba) and Brisbane/Gold Coast we're offering Moree + Mount Isa at a reduced price. The Moree + Mount Isa package will close Friday 17th June - email me to find out more. Of course you can book in for Mount Isa on it's own.

Our partnership with outback media, Mount Isa SOTA and ICPA Branch of the Air will ensure as many families as possible attend. The families of northern Queensland, and the NT are really looking forward to this event - and are absolutely honoured that boarding schools have committed to travelling to them to talk about their child's future. Isn't that wonderful!
