The Twinning Project is an organization dedicated to better equipping jailed citizens with skills to rejoin the world after their sentence and believes that football can be used to help these people, breaking down the barriers between them and learning and physical activity. 
Hilton and Danielle discuss his career experience prior to joining the Twinning Project, the impact employment has on recidivism, and why sport plays a role in the work the Twinning Project is doing. Hilton also shares how impactful it has been for major football clubs like Arsenal, Manchester United, and Swansea to support the project.

Our summer program combines educational classroom programming, hands-on mentoring and coaching, and unparalleled access to real-world work experience in the Sports, Entertainment, and Media industries. Beginning with a week of high-intensity training that features an incredible assortment of world-class executives as guest speakers and instructors, we provide students with exclusive opportunities to learn from industry leaders, expand their network, and develop themselves as professionals. This program is essential for any students looking to jump-start their careers in highly-competitive industries.
 
Program Overview
Location: UCLA Anderson School of Management – Los Angeles, CA (Housing is not included, however, IMPACT can provide resources to help students secure housing during the program as needed.)
Academic Partner: UCLA Anderson Center for Media, Entertainment & Sports
Who Can Apply: College students, graduate students, and early-stage professionals from around the world are invited to apply

Student Application and Placement Process
  1. Apply: The application process opens in November 2021 and closes one week prior to the start of the program. There is no application fee, and applications from students and graduates of all colleges/universities are accepted.
  2. Program Interview: Students will undergo an interview with IMPACT staff to review their application, discuss their career goals, and identify fields of interest.
  3. Registration: If accepted into the program, students will be sent a registration link. Once registration is completed and a deposit is placed, students’ spots in the program are secured.
  4. Project Placement: Prior to the start of the program, registered students will be placed in Experiential Learning Projects based on available opportunities that align with their fields of interest. Click HERE to register!

Work Experience & Mentorship for Female High School Student-Athletes
This program offers both mentorship and work experience in the field of sport for female high school student-athletes. Student-athletes will have the opportunity to gain meaningful work experience in high school BEFORE entering post-secondary. Using the LTS Model and Program Elements, our interns will work on thinking, social, and emotional skills, while getting real-world experience in the chosen field.  It is an opportunity to identify passion and potential, and direction for the individual moving forward.
WORK EXPERIENCE & MENTORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES:
Athletic Therapy Field Support - 2 positions available
  • Internship will consist of injury assessments, rehabilitation, injury prevention and athletic therapy services (i.e. taping).
Media Correspondent - 1 position available 
  • Internship will consist of social media content creation including photography, videography, and conducting interviews.
Mental Skills Training Workshop Facilitator - 1 position available 
  • Interns will learn about sport psychology and will have an opportunity to co-facilitate workshops for a girl's youth basketball team.

Reporting to the Director of Sport for Good Chicago, the Program Manager will be responsible for supporting and managing programmatic operations to improve and better support our mission.
