News & Updates for the Week of June 6th:

CONFIDENCE IN SUFFERING
How often do you find yourself thinking or saying the words of Psalm 22 - "God where are you? Do you even care?" What we saw yesterday was that Jesus turned to Psalm 22 in His darkest moment on the cross - not just to fulfill prophecy, but to seek comfort and refuge in God! When we face our darkest moments, we are to remember who God is and what He’s done - which allows us to see above our current circumstance and praise Him. If Psalm 22 is good enough for Jesus in His suffering, I think it should be enough for us too! Some recommended reading - Our Ultimate Refuge by Oswald Chambers; The Problem of Pain by CS Lewis; Gentle and Lowly by Dane Ortlund; Walking with God Through Pain and Suffering by Tim Keller

You can watch yesterday’s message here and access the Chapel Bible Reading Plan for Psalms here.

VBS has kicked off, and we are so excited as our Chapel Kids team leads a week of kids learning how their faith grows deeper when they spend time with God, spend time with others, use their gifts to serve, and share their stories of faith. Thank you to all who are volunteering this week to help kids meet, know, and follow Jesus! Join us in praying this week for the kids, leaders, and staff involved in VBS!

We are so thankful for each of you and continue to pray for you. Please let us know if there is anything we can do for you!
