Don’t you just love June? I’ve always viewed it as the lead-in month to summer and sunshine, lazy afternoons, sipping iced tea while lounging on the back patio, soaking in the sun.
Since COVID, Wayne and I have been spending majority of our time at our house on the Hood Canal, and many an afternoon, you’ll find me, and Bullet, planted in our screened-in gazebo while I read or knit while listening to an audiobook. And naturally there’ll be a cup of tea at my side. And on occasion, Wayne will join me. Spending time in my beautiful gazebo fills me with a simple joy.
