For this newsletter, we want to highlight two alumni who truly live out the mission and values of RISE. Matt Sheldon and Greg Fean are prime examples of the entrepreneurial spirit. They have achieved success and continual growth through their business, Gameday, and share their success with the community by giving back. When we started planning RISE FEST, Matt and Greg stepped in as consultants - donating their time and talent and being active advisors in planning meetings. Their involvement quickly grew to them offering to provide the materials and services needed to make RISE FEST the best that it could be. Gameday did the event set up, experience build out, and tear down for RISE FEST. Matt and Greg made our vision for the first annual RISE FEST come to life and we are so grateful for everything that they donated for the event and their continued involvement in the RISE community.
At RISE, one of our goals is talent retention and having our great entrepreneurs take ownership of the community building happening in their own hometown. Matt and Greg have recently moved back to South Bend to continue their growth and we have no doubts that their presence will make a positive impact in this entrepreneurial ecosystem. Gameday is now located across the hall from the RISE office in the IDEA Center at Notre Dame - talk about a full circle moment for us all!
