On Tuesday we were delighted to host a civic reception for Her Excellency the Honourable Barbara Baker AC and her husband Emeritus Professor Don Chalmers in our award-winning Banksia Room. Mayor Robert Young, councillors and local dignitaries enjoyed hearing about Her Excellency’s long association with the east coast before sharing garden-to-plate canapes followed by a tour of the site.
Following several years of restoration and reimagining as a sustainable events venue, Her Excellency cut a most attractive ribbon around our courtyard Banksia Tree to officially open the site. An exciting day for all who attended.
