Good morning!
Did you know? The Regina Tornado of June 30, 1912, rated as F4 (winds of 330 to 416 kilometres per hour) was the most severe tornado known in Canada. It killed 28 people, injured hundreds and demolished much of the downtown area. Yikes!
Calgary and other parts of Alberta were supposed to see their own natural disaster this week due to high rainfall, but it looks like most of it slipped on by. Even for us, we got pretty lucky on our Kootenay BC road trip, enjoying most of the attractions and activities with sunshine. This is good because our videos will turn out much better! If you're interested in exploring BC, our next video features Vernon!
But without further ado, enjoy the 70th edition of The Weekly Goose, which features a video about a beautiful Kananaskis hike, a travel guide to Saskatchewan, a travel guide to Ottawa, loads of beaver bites, and more!
