set free from the shackles of trauma, shame, addiction and self-destruction. 
 
 
 Unbound, we’ve stood by as they let go of the life they 
once knew, to take hold of a life they could only imagine.

To think that the whole event may have been arranged for this one woman to do a complete turn-around from an exploiter to a redeemed daughter of God who can bring employment and freedom to other women. 
 
This is the God we serve!

challenged to take another step towards wholeness.

LIVING FREE

A precious woman we've been journeying with for a number of years has just secured a new purpose-filled job helping to intercept trafficking victims for an NGO. She has worked incredibly hard, gaining qualifications in the beauty & healthcare industries, but was met with many closed doors when it came to job applications. We are so proud of her for her faithfulness & tenacity in face of disappointment, continually pressing on when returning to the industry would have been so easy. May God crown her efforts with success in her new position!

CHERISHED BALLITO
 
The Ballito team had an incredible first outreach this past month! Wherever the team went, they were welcomed in, as if the ladies were waiting for them. This tied in beautifully to the prophetic words they received that God had gone ahead of them, prepared hearts & had already done the work. About 
60 ladies received a thoughtful gift & a contact card, one that can be a life-line to them in desperate situations. 
One lady who had moved up from Joburg recognised the Cherished card & immediately began telling the others of the good work we do.
 
It was so encouraging to see the reach & impact Cherished has had on the ground. 
 
We are so excited to see the first fruit coming out of this outreach!
CHERISHED MIDDELBURG
 
Filled with a passion to reach God’s lost daughters, our new Middelburg team stepped out to break new ground for the Kingdom. Their very first outreach, done in tandem with the Cherished Streets team, was an incredible display of God’s heart for the broken and the hunger they have for wholeness. They reached about 45 ladies who were very open and welcomed prayer. After the outreach, 4 ladies connected with the team asking for prayer for their children, their health & to find alternative employment. 
28 ladies were reached on their second outreach, and although they faced more resistance, we know that God was still sowing seeds of hope. 
 
And then, a beautiful miracle -  one of the ladies they had met on both outreaches arrived at church, receptive and so excited to be there. 
 
We cannot wait to hear more stories like this from the team as they continue the good work!
CHERISHED JHB NORTH 
 
Our JHB team did a power-packed outreach across the city, visiting 12 venues & handing out 180 gifts. What really stood out was the trust we’ve built up with the ladies over the years. Many reached out asking for prayer & guidance and openly shared their struggles & fears. A number of ladies also expressed a genuine desire to leave the industry. Although they just had 1 combined team this month, they really felt the Lord multiplying the impact of the work. Let’s pray for courage for God’s daughters who are ready to leave, to take that first brave step.
 
"The LORD has sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim freedom 
for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners…" - Isaiah 61:1
