I am a skin-care fanatic. Countless creams and a zillion products later, I don’t how I missed the delights of CeraVe. Available at most drugstores, it won’t break the bank, and I’ve seen both men and women slathering it on. This night cream is my current go-to. |

The notion of powdered bone broth had me both intrigued and skeptical. That is, until I tried Kroma’s 24K chicken bone broth. Some call it nature’s medicine due to its many nutrients and wellness properties. I drink it when I am hungry, and the healthy glow (thanks, collagen!) is an added bonus. |

Confession: Sometimes I spend more time in a museum gift shop than at the actual exhibition. Scandalous, I know. But some of my best-loved gifts and jewelry come from these extraordinary, masterfully curated stores. Since flying is such a pain right now, take a trip to some of my favorites and support museums from the comfort of your sofa. |

I launched MOOD during the height of the pandemic to fill a void caused by the receding sense of community and the loss of personal connections. MOOD was meant to be a fun distraction, a place to share and to lift each other up. As we approach this Fourth of July holiday, in a “reopened” world, it actually feels like we are more polarized and isolated than ever before. So what can we do about it? Here are my ideas, and dammit I will try to practice what I am preaching: - Make decisions that invest in positive outcomes — for yourself and our country.
- Be kind and respectful — especially to those with whom you may disagree.
- Keep calm. But don’t fear speaking up.
- Have faith that goodness eventually triumphs over evil.
- And carry on. Always carry on with your head held high.
I'd love to hear your thoughts. 🙏🏼 Melanie 💜 |
