Dear First name / friend, I had a great vacation. Viking Cruises have become a favorite of mine and Howard's, and this one did not disappoint. A larger ship (450 guests), we saw and toured 5 countries (you can read more on my blog). As is true with most of our vacations, it is good to be home and I look forward to enjoying the memories. NOW, BACK TO WORK !!! On Monday, 6/27, I will be in my office and available to see individuals for Yoga Therapy and/or Yoga Instruction. Contact me through my website, Leslie Salmon Yoga & Therapeutics. My public class schedule resumes the same day: Mondays & Thursdays, 10:30am, Aligned Yoga at Sage Yoga Studios, Fallbrook. These classes are best for those with a bit of yoga knowledge and my teaching experience embraces all levels. Tuesdays, 9:00am, Therapeutic Yoga at Sage Yoga Studios, Bonsall. A class suitable for students struggling with ‘stuff’ (and, who isn't?) Fridays, 9:00am, Yoga Basics at Sage Yoga Studios, Bonsall. Also a class suitable for those new to yoga, looking for an easeful pace, and/or those who just like my teaching style. And, watch for a PRACTICE later this Summer (also at Sage Yoga Studios). In a Practice, we all work together towards a peak pose. Right now, I'm thinking Hanumanasana (splits), or an arm balance (or two), or maybe some backbends. Track the event calendar for details - it's a great way to work, laugh, and enjoy the camaraderie built by Reyna at Sage. I look forward to seeing you sometime soon! |

RESTORING PRANA by Robin Rothenberg. Wow! what a compilation of great information and helpful exercises to use. Even my breath pattern is changing as I read. Highly recommend for Yoga Therapists and Teachers, as well as other wellness professionals. Providing an abundance of practical tools, this book presents a new understanding of the potency of the breath to heal. The Good Daugher by Karin Slaughter. A departure from my recent WWII readings, this is a dark story with many twists and turns. It took me two days to get through the 656 pages - I guess I wanted to know how everything turned out (as soon as I could). Not for the faint of heart, but I'm glad I read it. |
