Dear First name / Friend, Well hello! I missed last weekend's update as I was in Chicago with my middle and oldest sons apartment hunting. I have to say, I will always love Boston, but wow, I really, really loved Chicago - more than I ever thought I would. Granted we had amazing weather - - talk to me when I visit this winter;) Anyway we had a fun-packed time, found a great apartment, and got to hang with their friends all weekend. They are both lucky to be in a city with so many close friends from both HS and college, and the two will be about a 10 minute walk from each other. We fly out with them on the same day we close on the house in August. That will be a crazy weekend, but hopefully fun too. |

In other news, the downsizing (an understatement) project is moving along well. All our furniture is now spoken for and the Chicago guys will be able to take a lot of our misc. stuff so I am feeling less overwhelmed by the project. I also have put a dent in the photograph “situation” thanks to this gizmo that sits on our kitchen counter and will go with us everywhere until the end of time. Every time I come across a special, winning photo, I snap a pic of it and zap it to the gizmo to enjoy daily. |

And my last life update (proving how unexciting my life really is)…. Last night all 3 guys were gone for the night, so this is the beautiful site that greeted me this morning…for the first time all summer. I'll miss them terribly, but I won't miss their late night cooking. |
